in Venezuela is valued by companies working in Social Development Organizations (SDO) or Civil Society (known as NGOs) for the links and the path that can be harvested with the communities in which they work and for their expertise in certain areas. However this is not sufficient for private sector partnerships and work together for sustainability. What companies value the ODS? and in turn what value the ODS business?
Anaiz and Carlos talked about this issue to Feliciano Reyna, President of Synergy, Ashoka Fellow and founder of Action for Development.
regard Reyna explained that for an ODS to achieve credibility and support from both partner companies and communities it supports, they must be transparent, take administrative clarity, pay bills on time, professionalize and specialize to achieve develop projects in the medium and long term and measurable fruition accurate information to generate impact in society. Reyna also said that innovation, diagnosis, and research are essential to add value to projects.
The ODS in turn expect from companies that are able to incorporate into their processes not only skilled, sensitive, interested and involved in projects developed with the ODS but clearly in social investment to build effective partnerships work. "The company has the conviction, commitment and enable project teams to facilitate relations with the ODS"
