Synopsis: "The Other, We" suggests an approach to a sector of Uruguayan society still unknown where the history and day to day living in an audiovisual material that weaves African women's stories of past and present eastern shore. We propose a dynamic perspective of women trademarks and history through art, advocacy, and building a truly integrated country.

Plot: Sempre Vivas Parteiras ethnoscientific audiovisual recording is a work of traditional birth attendants, traditional heritage that needs to be preserved. This film made by the Curator Movement depicts the resistance of the midwives, we have the techniques used to give birth and their knowledge about plants in relation to the care and stimulation methods for good labor. They also unveiled the party's relations with spirituality through singing, praying and rituals.

Synopsis: Seven black women make Uruguayan a retrospective of their lives. All were pioneers in breaking the prejudice that condemns them. Emancipated themselves by developing their own lives, often without awareness of what they were representing. Now leave a clear message to new generations. The documentary includes testimonials with pictures and a poem by Cristina Rodriguez Cabral.

Synopsis: Water Drums Ancestral Encounter "is a documentary that shows the strength of African roots in the Venezuelan musical events. The history of Venezuelans of African descent since his arrival to Venezuela protagonist gets displayed when the drums of water, a very peculiar musical practice and beautiful. The drum of water will become the vehicle of our history, allowing the meeting of two continents (Africa and America) on sonar water from their rings. Stressing that no matter the distance when the roots are strong enough to endure through time.
